You've reached this site's main feature: Me & My Flame, the saga about Chad the Charizard that aired February--April 2000 on the Upnetwork Forums via wild charizard (me). Writing Flame took me seven months.
Flame takes place about a thousand years in the future of the show. Because G/S came out after the story was almost finished, all Pokémon of any significance here are original 150. Although it is not a "dark" fic, it is not for younger readers, the R rating is for a reason. Some chapters contain violence/profanity/sexual situations. The Life of Inferno is appropriate for all ages, has just as much charizard, and more gym battles. :)
Some people loved how I portrayed the Pokémon, others objected. You can't please everybody. I encourage everyone who has read the entire thing to send in reviews. Just as long as it isn't only "I loved/liked it" or "It sucks." Explain why.
Flame is like a book, so the chapters must be read in order. If you prefer, you can download the zip pack of all 53 files in HTML format; it's less than 500kb. Recommended!
